A DJ’s Jam Session

When most think of a DJ they think of them in their element, performing for the adoring throngs of listeners, party goers, and the like. However, years of practice must go into the continual attempt to perfect one’s craft. Many practice in bedrooms, on coffee tables, or in basements… anywhere they can go to find a few hours alone (or with a few friends) with their music. This can make the transition to having listeners difficult, because a DJ may think a track is a “banger” only to discover its a dud when they play it for an audience. Nevertheless, practice is an integral part of the DJ experience, and it is one that I have documented in the video above.
